Thunder CEO Steps Down after Great Start to Season

Peel Thunder Football Club CEO Bill Kostandas has today announced his decision to move on from the organisation, following two years at the helm.

Peel Thunder President Mr. John Ditchburn said “although the timing may not be ideal the Football Club understands and accepts the reasons for his resignation, which are strictly confidential, and thank Bill for his contribution over the past two years. Bill's contribution to the Football Club has been acknowledged internally and the Club wishes him well for future endeavours.”

Mr. Kostandas stated, “I am extremely grateful to the Peel Thunder Football Club Board for their invaluable support over the past two years, and also to our fantastic stakeholders and key commercial partners. I am also grateful for the great commitment and desire of all the staff, coaches and players here at Peel Thunder. The team has made a great start in the 2015 McDonald’s WAFL season and now I feel it is the perfect time to consider my next steps. I wish the Club the very best of luck for 2015 and beyond.”

Decision on the future leadership of the organisation will be made in due course.

Mr. Kostandas joined Peel Thunder Football Club in April 2013, bringing with him over 20 years executive management experience in a variety roles, including sporting organisations. He has a passion for the Mandurah Community and is on the Board of the STEP mci Community organisation.
