WAFLW Round 1 Preview

The Countdown to Round 1 is on!

Be here as all 3 of our Women’s teams will be back out on David Grays Arena tomorrow afternoon to take on East Fremantle.

The new look Rogers Cup side get the day underway from 1.20pm, with the Reserves following at 3.05pm.

With spots in the League side hard to find, 3 Premiership players - Krystal Carter, Bailey Molloy and Kira Phillips will all run out in the Reserves alongside Whitney Benson and new Player Coach Narelle McIntyre.

The League side sees a couple of surprise late AFLW listed inclusions with both Demi Liddle and Katie-Jayne Grieve returning to the Thunder.

Coach Steve Markham will be handing out 3 WAFLW League debuts to Kerrilee Brown, Aisha Wright and AFLW Train on player Beth Schilling and Cassie Davidson will lead the side out for the first time since she was name Captain.

Bouncedown for League will be from 5pm, be sure to be there before the bounce to see the 2020 Premiership Flag unfurled! Don’t forget entry is Free and if you can’t make it to the game the League Game will be Streamed live on Facebook or be sure to follow along on our social channels!
