The West Australian Football League, WAFLW, and WA Talent programs have been postponed until May 31st in an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus throughout our community.
The decision has been made together with the AFL and State football bodies around Australia as part of a national approach to protect the well-being of all players, coaches, umpires, officials, staff and volunteers.

Lees added to WAFLW Coaching Staff
Tim Lees will take over the duties of Senior Development Head Coach in 2020. Lees, an AFL U/16's State Representative in 1996, played Senior Football for numerous teams, clocking up more than 300 games and kicking more than 500 goals. Hayes Announced as New Rogers Cup Coach
Another piece to the puzzle has been put into place for our Women's Program ahead of their 2020 campaign with Geoff Hayes appointed as our new Rogers Cup Head Coach.

Cole in as Senior Development Head Coach
The Peel Thunder Football Club are proud to announce that 2019 Colts Assistant Coach Shannon Cole will take over as Head Coach of the Senior Development Program in 2020.
This will be Cole’s 4th season at The Thunder after joining from Warnbro Swans as an Assistant Coach during the club’s successful Premiership defence in 2017. After spending his first 2 seasons within the Senior setup, Cole spent 2019 as part of the Talent Pathway, working as the Defensive Line Coach under Colts Coach Michael Glassborrow.
