It’s official: Peel Thunder has one of the best Club facilities in WA.

Bendigo Bank Stadium has taken out the Best Medium Club Function Facility Award at the Clubs WA awards for the second year in a row, beating the Kellerberrin District Club and the Mounts Bay Sailing Club.

The 2014 awards night celebrated the contributions of clubs to the industry and the wider community, as well as recognising the importance of clubs and the continuous hard work and commitment of their employees and volunteers.

The club congratulates Commercial Operations Manager Pat Jennings and Head Chef Glenn Sutton on their outstanding achievement.

“Clubs WA is proud to acknowledge and reward the integral role that clubs play in their local communities. These awards have been designed to showcase our clubs who have excelled over the past year and we heartily congratulate all winners and finalists,” Clubs WA executive director Peter Seaman said.

Local Peel legend John Polmear was also nominated as Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his 17 years of service to the Peel Thunder Football Club.
