2014 Australia Post AFL Community Camps

The Australia Post AFL Community Camps will see more than 800 AFL players take the game to regional and rural communities across Australia, with the Fremantle Dockers visiting to Pinjarra, Harvey and Collie on Thursday the 6th and Friday the 7th of February.

The Fremantle Dockers will carry out training sessions and visit schools in the Collie, Harvey and Pinjarra areas, as well as visiting the Pinjarra local football clubs and post offices, to bring together individuals and communities, while promoting healthy lifestyles and participation.

There will be further opportunities for kids to learn from their favourite players during a super clinic, as well as aspiring coaches learn from the Fremantle Dockers coaching staff as they take some talented players from the area through a training session, both at Pinjarra Oval on Thursday afternoon and free to the public.  These events will be followed by a sportsman’s night were the community will have the opportunity to interact and mingle with the playing squad and coaching staff. Tickets for the sportsman’s event can be purchased through your local Junior Football Club from January.

For further information on any of the events or community visits please contact the Peel District staff on 9535 3448.
