'Good Friday Clash' Round 3 at Bendigo Bank Stadium, playing for the Bendigo Bank Cup

Peel Thunder are hoping it will be a ‘Good Friday’ when they take on East Fremantle for the Bendigo Bank Cup in their first home game of the 2013 WAFL Season on 29 March.
The Thunder – who have their first two opening season matches as away games – will travel to Lathlain in Round One to take on Perth at Brownes Stadium on Saturday before their Round Two match against East Perth at Medibank Stadium on March 23.
Suffering three losses to the Sharks last season by 20 or more points, Peel Thunder will be keen to take the upperhand this season by winning the first of two matches against last years’ grand finalists.
The Good Friday match also coincides with the club’s annual Past Player Round which gives Peel Thunder Football Club the opportunity to welcome back all Past Player and Officials of the Club to members and supporters.
Former AFL players and current members of the 2013 squad, Paul Bower, James Hawksley and Kelvin Lawrence will join other past players to be celebrated during the round.
Members and supporters can head to Bendigo Bank Stadium from 9:00am with the Colts match at 9.10am, Reserves at 11.40am and League match at 2.10pm.
