Final Round of Pre Season - PTFC v WPFC 9th March, 2013

A tight, hard fought encounter ensued between Peel Thunder and West Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium yesterday evening in the final game of three pre-season practice matches – with the Falcons claiming victory by 9 points.
The match was close early with Peel Thunder taking a 13 point lead into half time, before the Falcons kicked away, building a 22 point lead midway during the final term.
Fremantle recruit, Craig Moller tightened the margin to 16 points after receiving a free kick for a high tackle late in the fourth quarter.
West Perth held the Thunder off late in the match to claim victory.
The club will face the Perth Demons in Round One of the WAFL Season next weekend 16th March at Brownes Stadium.
Peel Thunder will host their first home game on Good Friday v East Fremantle Football Club 29th March, playing for the Bendigo Bank Cup.
